I would like to annouce the retirement of the Rec Threads. As I no longer have any mod powers left in the forum, along with my dismissal comes the retirement of the rec thread. We have had a good run with this. It has been fun, sad, aggrivating, happy etc etc etc. Thank you all for your input and help. It was a great ride.....take care (f)

Why aren't you a mod any longer vixen and why retire rec threads off? I know people moan and groan about them a lot but its probably the part of the forum im most interested in. I enjoy reading responses etc and seeing 'whos hot, and whos not.'

Uhm... Vixen... First of all, about Your post in the other thread yelling about Me not letting you know last night that they were demoting you... Well I had NO idea who they were letting go! And I didn't appreciate you coming out at me like that.

Another thing, You are going around to people, in the SB, on Msn or whereever, Just coming out with emotion over this, wanting sympathy, and you're not allowing the admins to properly explain their reasons for this action, which if you say they are being unfair to you, well in the same sense you're being unfair to them as well, because you're influencing other people's views on this. I realize, that for some people, it's hard to lose mod, but it doesn't change that you are a big part of this forum, well it shouldn't.

Also, Rec thread are not "yours" to make this decision on. It doesn't matter if it were your idea or not, once they were started on this forum, they became the sole property of "the forum", and you don't have the say so to say these are over and done with. From what admins say.. Craig will be doing them now. Just like Buckled will be doing "my" smiley job now. :dunno: so what.

Vixen, you have been like a sister to me from very early on.. And I really hate for this to harm us in that way... But you seem to think that first of all, being here 4 years entitles you to be staff.. and I know there's many others who have been here just as long that aren't staff, so what? Do you really feel being a mod is a trophy or an award for length of membership here? You put So much emphasis on this power thing.. and in the end, it doesn't really matter does it? Do you really feel that having that "power" defines who you are as a person?

Well it doesn't!! Mod or Not , you are a great person, and you should feel proud of who you are with or without the badge! Who cares? For real Vix, who fucking cares? Look inside yourself, love yourself for the great person you are, enjoy your friends here that you've made here, and let the others mod the forum and don't let it affect you like this!
