What have you been up to recently?

Well, as i'm sure most of you already know, me, being the egotistical wanker that i am, thought i'd update you guys on what i've been doing recently. As i haven't had much time for the forum at present.

I just landed a sweet new job last month working in mayfair and spending time out in Montreal every now and then, a real good career move and a decent pay rise.

And last weekend i moved into a new flat (my bedroom is still, as yet, unchristened):

p.s. i hope you took the pictures at night otherwise youre new flat must be in a dungeon somewhere...... which is probably the only thing most people can afford in london :S rent is ridiculous (unless youre doing really well and bought a flat :O??)

In my life ... well Darren's gonna be here in 22 days, I applied as a Committee Assistant in a different branch of the HoC, quite a significant pay rise if I get it so here's me crossing my fingers! Just been going through the language testing to see if my French is good enough and it is so all we have left is the interview!

Exactly, i'm sure the teachers would argue they just told me that to try and motivate me to do better, but bollocks to them and their narrow minded opinions on the need for a university education (H)

Haha, and yes, it was about 2 in the morning when i took the pics (i dont live in a dungeon, honest) place has got a huge outdoor patio garden which will be great for barbeques when the decent weather finally arrives :)

Yeah it does kind of feel like i'm living in a villa in spain or something at the moment, but i need to buy some rugs so it feels a bit warmer.... maybe some plants and all that crap - Really could do with a woman to help with the touches, but ce la vie!

Awesome about Darren coming for good! Thats crazy, i'm well happy for you both. Lets be honest, he aint gunna get much better than you is he? :)

I start full time work with Caldwell Memorial Hospital this month working 24hrs on and 48hrs off. That job is so i can get my performance shop opened. So i'm going to be here less and less unless i spring for net at the shop:cheeky:
