I need art!! Who's willing to help me out :D

p.s. I also need

a microwave

a small couch

a tv

a dresser

better pots and pans

and um other stuff hehe but that's not important.

Let me know if you don't want it I'll pay for shipping when I get caught up with my bills.

I might even be able to trade if you have something special you want a song for or a special someone that you can't seem to get the words right I'm pretty good at it. It's not studio quality but many people are suprised byt he sound that I get out of this computer.

Have a look at http://www.freecycle.org/

There may well be people in your area looking to get rid of stuff for free

EErhm... out of my price range lol...

But I've decided that all I need is some good junk and some ways to make it kick ass--or atleast work for me!!

Looking on craigslist and taking stuff from our basement.

I got a mirror from the basment that someone trash.. the wooden frame was broke but I just took it off and it looks great!

Unfortunately prolly no one is reading this now.. but if you have any ideas for trash 2 treasure hook me up..

Kinda gotta just wait for what you can get and THEN make something out of it but still ideas would be awesome.

Still serious about the song thing though for trading on anything..

hehe, the trials and tribulations of setting up a home...
There used to be these things called "records". They were 12" diameter and there was some really cool cover art. Vinyl is cheaper than ever now (I'm sitting on my rare stuff, still waiting for prices to take off...) so you could find some good stuff to put on your walls cheap on e-bay or any other 2nd hand reseller. Might even get some good tunes too. ;-]

Ah yes I had records on my walls back home.. infact I had a lot of stuff back home.. unfortunately I couldn't bring any of it with me :( no money for shipping and not strong enough to lug my whole house with me!!

on another note I saw this cool thinkg about turning old records into bowls..http://www.wikihow.com/Make-Bowls-out-of-Vinyl-Records

wikiHow is a cool place to make things.. I was looking how to make an air conditioner for less than 30 bucks but it looked semi dangerous and I'm girly in the area of electricity.

Hey there sweet lady. When I was first on my own I would pick up two colors of cheap 2" ribbon at my local craft store I and would use it to create a design on my wall. If you overlap one with the other by about 3/8 of an inch you get a shadow effect. Make a line then fold and continue with color number two as your shadow. Also used to have a cheap deco net I would drape in a corner to cause a "black hole" effect. Good Will, Salvation Army, Liquidation Stores, Garage Sales, and even dumpster diving when the trash isn't actually IN the can is acceptable if the item is capable of being cleaned properly. A little bit of paint and stain can go a long way with furniture. Used to also use blocks and boards for make shift shelves in "the good old days". Have fun, and good luck. *hugs*
