Jake I just use Daemon tools (http://home.so-net.net.tw/kmolly/dtools/daemon403-x86.exe), once you've mounted it you can use a no CD crack for it or keep it mounted. I don't know how to do it theotehr way so I thought I'd explain the way I do know. :P

OK..the NERO way

1. Open Nero
2. Close Compilation Window
3. Go to Recorder-Burn Image
4. Browse to where the Bin and Cue files are..you should see the Cue file since its a supported image format..double click on it
5. Next window make sure 'finalize CD' is checked and click burn
6. Enjoy CD

how do i convert a .bin file to a .avi or anyother movie files???

Info as to how the file was obatined would be helpful.

Try mounting it with Daemon Tools, Alcohol 120% or the like it's most likely that it's a CD image, although I'm not sure if these programs can read it without the .cue file. If you donloaded it from a file sharing network, see if there is a .cue file with an identical name.

or am i thinking of the wrong thing completly??

Dymond
26th June 2006, 11:45 AM
I think you just burn it to CD and thats it...I haven't come across alot of bin/cue files for DVD-R but maybe they are out there? A SVCD will play in most DVD players if thats what you got.

Smash Bros

but the .bin files are like 1gig between them :| or burn them as SVCD files onto 2 seperate cds???

Burn them to a CD each using the method listed by Dymond and you should be sweet.

What Remo Said..you will have a part 1 and part 2 SVCD

Zulu Warrior

.bin and .cue files are to make 'bootable cd's'. if this is a movie, it probably has out-takes/music-videos/etc in addition to the movie. If you want just the movie, i'd again suggest WinISO to open bin/cue file, then once you are able to see the individual files within, then you can isolate the .avi file which is the movie, copy that to it's own file...then burn with NERO.

27th June 2006, 07:20 AM
WHAT??? a bin/cue file is made to make an IMAGE of a CD.. It doesn't matter if its a bootable CD, the latest game or an SVCD. Dude don't make this thread even worse by saying stuff that doesn't make sense..No offense but you don't know what your talking about.

The man asked how to convert the file. He didn't ask how to burn it to CD, or how to mount it on a virtual drive with Deamon or Alcohol 120%. So to answer his question, the easiest way is to use WinISO! It's free, it's easy, and it's made specifically to do the job he wants done!

Dymond
27th June 2006, 08:41 AM
I wouldn't even use winiso..why extract the files when he can use daemon tools to mount the image and install it directly?..and we answered his question already..It was Muzza's movie we were talking about..

i agree with cooked up.

and i burnt the movie as bin files to a blank disc. will i need deamon tools to burn it normally onto another dvd disc or can i burn it through nero normally as dvd to dvd??

Muzza,
Try and drop the CD as is into your DVD player and see if it plays as-is. If it doesn't we might need to get down to the actual video files to convert it. Like I said earlier SVCD cds are meant to be played in a compatible DVD player.

i burnt the .bin files to a blank dvd disc aswell mind you.

i went and tried to download a deamon tools program and got an ISO file. i now have 2 images of the 2 parts of the movie. iam going to attempt to burn them and see if that works and let you know what happens

if need be i can take a screen shot of what the disc looks like (in explore on the pc) so you can tell me wtf i need to do to burn this dvd.

or better yet a different link to download the movie again

This is assuming that you don't get a direct mount/burn system to work for you:

If it comes down to you extracting the videos from the cue files before you burn them, you can also extract the video files using vcdgear. Once extracted, you can follow whatever process you use to burn the video files to a cd/dvd (such as burning the files onto the dvd with nero.) Doing it this way, you don't have to deal with converting the bin+cue files to an iso or anything of that nature.

Well the problem is he can't see the files on the CD when he puts it in the PC so either the track or something else is FOOKED.. YOu might have to try mounting it with Daemon Tools so you can at least see the files inside the image.

YAY. i have finally done it. i have got teh movie.

all i had to do was download about 10 programs and use trial and error. and death row showed me the one that worked.

sooo for people that would liek it here you go.

the link to the program i used is:

http://www.smart-projects.net/isobuster.php

it is a free trial but im sure you can find the serial numbers and what not that you need at

http://www.serials.ws/index.php

plus there is porn at the top so dont veiw at work please.

the walk through that i used was on this page

http://www.videohelp.com/forum/userguides/141726.php#svcdbin

follow it it actually works.

WOOOHOOOO!!

Good job homie! Isobuster is a great program! I use it for rebuilding PS2 games and for when I want something from an image w/o wanting to either burn or mount it.. Although in our defense Daemon Tools would have done the same thing :-)

I thought he had downloaded the files and then burned them to a CD from what he said in page 3. If that was the case, vcdgear would've extracted the video files from the bin/cue (provided he still had kept them.) Doesn't matter too much if he got it working though.

He said he couldn't see anything on the CD after he burned it..I figure a bad burn..But I guess DR had him extract the files directly from the image using ISOBuster. I'm sure after that VCDGear would have worked at that point when he extracted the files from the VCD. I still stick by my daemon tools suggestion though!

lol. the cds wouldnt work.

either was the image i burnt to the dvd disc.

this is the only thing that has worked soo far.

now i just need to get it onto a dvd disc and get it to work :(

i burnt it to a disc last night and went to play it this morning and it came up with an error reading the disc. im going to try and burn it again with a fresh disc as the one i used has a scratch that you can feel.

i hope thats the only reason why it wont work.
