I nearly suggested to either send yourself private messages or to create a folder on your computer. However, after reconsideration of the requirements, I realised that keeping track of private messages is rather uncomfortable - in particular if others make sure that your inbox is constantly clogged up. As far as the folder on your computer is concerned, I think it's good to know that by storing your data on the internet, you will not lose any data in case your computer crashes. Further, you can keep track of your progress from everywhere on this planet. If I moderated this section, I would even suggest to stick your thread in order to make it even more convenient for you.

You are 16 years old now, aren't you? Impressive stuff, pal!

you didn't make this to track your progress you just wanted to show off.

You're full of shit and you know it. As was mentioned, there are other ways you could track your progress privatly if you wanted to, but you didn't. You wanted to personly track your progress on a public forum, riiiiiight...

P.S. Real men don't wear gloves...

The fuck they don't!

Pink you look fucking awesome dude!! Bravo and keep up the good work. I don't offer much advice but I will say this. While your young stay away from the supplements. Your body is still growing and they really don't know the kind of effect that stuff has on growing kids. You've got a lifetime of lifting ahead of you, don't get greedy and screw it up later..

You do need gloves when doing heavyweights or you split the insides of your hands open.. i don't see a man at the gym doing weights WITHOUT gloves, that said the rest of your post is true he is just showing off

shame is the poor lad will have fucked up his growth and he wont accept it, he still had 5 years of natural growth to go but the strain from his muscles will prevent his bone/marrow growth...

shame you wont get much taller or wider.. but im sure you thought of that before you decided to start showing off...

I do agree that maybe that site doesn't have the health of its readers in mind. I'm not gonna give you shit about lifting at your age, if you were younger maybe but I think your fine. But remember nobody is going to be looking out for you as much as you will yourself. Do some hard research before taking any supplements.

yeah bodybuilding.com was put on my radar a long time ago and the trainer at my gym just said no... infact my friend is in the royal marines and they were banned from using bodybuilding.com's products his troop were at least.

but i still think metalfan? said it best when he referred to them being as trustworthy as used car salesman

nobody here is berating you we are just concerned for your health, I definatley think at your age you should be taking those supplements.. especially when you exceed the recommended days dosage...

Working out is great, doesn't matter the age. I just think for a teen, bodyweight exercises are a great way to go, and supplements are a no-no. My parents wouldn't let me take anything other than protein until I was 18, and at GNC they won't sell most things to people under 18. It's crazy how much shit is going on in your body at this age, and how things can get fucked up. And don't worry, I wear gloves for shrugs :)

i use gloves AND wraps for that :hidey:... my forearms arent strong enough yet to hold 315 on there own :glare:

peddle07

I haven't used wraps before, they're supposed to be good. I just use 125 dumbells, im assuming you use a bar, i find that it works better by having your hands somewhat parallell with your body rather than perpendicular

i do shrugs with the bar in front of me, then with the bar in back of me near my ass, then with dumbells to hit the traps at all different angles for maximum growth

*edit* sometimes i go lighter and more reps 20-30 w/o wraps, because then it helps build the forearms aswell
