seems like its going to happen, who heard of a 3yr loan deal  wonder how that'll work what with that Kia guy having ownership of the player but West Ham holding a 4yr contract for the player......bizarre

quality player though, be great signing although im slightly concerned that Man U dont currently have an out and out goal getter

I'm a bit worried that we're trying to replace Tevez(Hammer of the Year) with Craig Bellamy.

Hope Tevez doesnt go though, and gives us one more year, but cant really see it happening!

hmmm... funny how it seems that if this goes through, Sheffield Utd. will be proven correct. Will the FA allow that to happen, methinks not.

there is a little hold up but i cant see there being any problems with it, seeing as liverpools transfer of Mascherano was approved which is the same sort of deal.

the premier league are kicking their heels abit so Man Utd have asked Fifa and the FA to intervene

ah, but to get Mascherano, West Ham tore up his registration... something they are not willing to do with Tevez...

Buckledmac

they tore up his registration because he was unhappy, dont you think tevez will be unhappy when he's made to stay ??

its an interesting case, i can understand why west ham want money though they realise what a hot talent they have on their hands

It has happened. I hope you have better luck in your dealings with MSI/Kia Joorabchian than we did... I doubt it though, it won't surprise me at all to see KJ touting Tevez around Europe next summer.

thank fuck we got him in the end with rooney breakin his foot, again........

You were always going to get him, it was a foregone conclusion. In an ideal world Joorabchian would have got him to go on strike, then we could have refused to pay him for the next three years, his value would plummet and Joorabchian would have got nothing... Good job I'm not bitter eh? :D

And before anyone mentions the fee, West Ham didn't keep any of it. Some went on the legal fees after the EPL made us assert our rights to him and the rest went to the Football Foundation to build mini pitches in Newham.

You might want to read this Alf http://uk.reuters.com/article/sportsNews/idUKL1370264020070813

"We have a two-year deal and then we also have the right to purchase Carlos at any time within that period for a set sum," Manchester United chief executive David Gill told reporters.

Funny that, West Ham had the same thing. The Eggman was willing to pay the £35M but by then Joorabchian had touted Tevez to Man U (Allegedly pocketing £10M in the process.) Don't hold your breath on keeping Tevez... Joorabchian won't give up his cash-cow easily.
