What can one team do different from another other than buying turns to win? Or being popular so they can have 20-30 players over the other teams 10. Without strategy, a strategy game isnt a game at all. Just because the one in charge doesnt understand chess, hes got us playing checkers. The pieces are all there to play chess, but the person in charge has only played checkers with them since hes had the game, and chess looks like cheating to him. More than 5 teams have dissolved or quit over this issue of rules only apply to the ones he looks at. What worked one round, might get ya disqualified the next. atch the players list in top scores dwindle down, and watch the mods make multis to bring it back up. Without multis this site wouldnt have half the players it has. The personal attacks that go unchecked and unpunished are another problem of the site. I had a kid talk about, hed be back after his cheeks werent blood red from crying after he busted early in ww2, and people attacked him so ferociously, even after he apologized. The fact is, its a clickish game. If you dont fit into a click, you will be personaly attacked to where its no fun, and instead of playing, you spend your time defending yourself in gametalk because your not in the popular clicks that exist. If you continue to think like you always thought, youll continue to get what you always got--> a 3 team monopoly in FM and NO growth.

List of things that can make you better than your oppenants in FM:
1. Play more often. This alone should beat people who play once a day
2. Learn your good. Figure out what good prices are for your CM and RM goods. You'd be surprised who will drop at mediocre prices and cost themselves final worth.
3. Work out synergy with teammates that DOES NOT involve them feeding you.

While this diatribe is gorwing old on your part, ultimately you're right. You've identified the problem, but you haven't begun to stumble on a good answer. It is indeed very hard to medal with only 10 people. The teams with cig carts working with them have a distinct advantage. HOWEVER, alllowing your temmates to feed you doesn't solve anything cause then the big companies would feed each other and STILL kick your ass. Then the game would be even shittier and we would be losing by even bigger margins :|

I say stop worrying about winning so much and just play for the fun of the game. Try and beat your personal best, see how early you can downsize and not get fucked lol. Honestly, I just play for the fellowship with the friends I've made playing months together. But then again what do you expect from a guy who founded Play4Fun Co. :P

look at the clicks that respond to my rants. All the same people. No ones gonna come out in outright support against so many who are against me. Someone tell me theres more than one way to play FM, and I'll shut up. The bottom line is that there isnt. The games been dumbed down to one strategy in order to be competetive. % premies on a worth team, and a cig team to make cigs, no other strategy can be attempted because the rules are too vague on what you can and cant do. Its ok to find suppliers but even if youll pay the supplier more, they cant just sell to the highest bidder. Why am I the only one to see that this is retarded? Is this site contenet on only allowing us to run one particular strategy, and not do anything to make your company different than all the others. The only thing that seperates teams as of now, is the number of premies it has who buy turns, and a cig team, which 3 teams have a monopoly on. teams getting strated dont stand a chance against such large monopolys, and they arent even allowed to try new cutting edge ways to try to be competetive withou being labeled a cheater.

AND, wtf are these forums created for if a person cant use them to voice an opinion without being personally attacked, or have people post shit totally off subject, like what sound a cow makes. It all just adds up to the unfairness that Im so trying to get others to see, so maybe, it could be a fair place to play for all. I obviously dont want one player feeding another. Insain, it was you who started calling names and in fact it was you who started a thread accusing a moderator of being corrupt. Then it was you who accused them of being too stupid to be able to understand your argument. As a result several people have leapt to the defense of the moderator concerned. It so happens that this moderator doesn't need defenders, he's quite capable in that regard, but he is also very highly regarded by most who have been here for a while and many of those who haven't been here very long at all.

You put up an argument (maybe a suggestion) as to how the rules could be interpreted. The moderator disagreed with you and that is pretty much where the discussion ends. This is not a democracy, What Treadon says goes, and if he delegates that authority to another person then that person makes the rules. Period. End of discussion.

Is this fair? I don't care. Treadon doesn't care. In fact it would appear that not many people care if it is fair. The fact is those are the rules.

I hope you change your mind about leaving. You have some good ideas and some good strats, but dont go getting pissy if something clever you think of doesn't get the nod from the people running the site.

As for the cliques, you're half right. Like any community of this size there are subcommunities. Any game like FM or DW where you play on teams you're always going to have groups that form. I do not think that it's quite the jr high who's-cooler-than-who cliques, more webs of acquaintances cause it really takes forever to get to know everyone on GC. I have yet to run into a "clique" that wouldn't at least be friendly or sociable to outsiders. Everyone is on here for fun and to try and win some games. If you relax, play within the rules, and try and be a good teamate, there isn't a person on this site that will harass you too bad (except for maybe killaho :hehe: )

What I'm trying to say is stop fighting the system. The people here like things the way they are and you can expect to get the fuck flamed out of you if you rail against it. (I've done it too :P) Either play within the system or find another online game that suits your interests. I'm not trying to post on here but if you do decide to leave I know at least one other site that has a similar game you might enjoy.

I never attacked any one of the others, other than Tyler. I realy didnt attack him. this was supposed to be about strategys, and whats legal, and whats not. I was trying to get Tyler to look at the game beyond just making a CM, and having a cig team. I asked specific questions that were never answered, and had several people like yourself, come into the forum, and dumb it down with personal attacks that had nothing to do with what all this was about in the first place, which is the rules are vague as far as suppliers go. I had you on my team before. You know Im not a cheater. I payed this site 7 bucks a month and bought turns almost every week. I payed thm 35 a month and spent 10 hrs a day playing it. If I didnt like or care for the game, this wouldnt have been such a big deal. Now, I am forced out and have no chance of playing competetively again. Tyler has been adamant that he will use any power he has at his disposal to thwart my effort. I have had almost every round, someone come into my team as a new player, and start up trouble between teammates, and then that player disappears to never come back. This may or may not be a multi placed on my team to sabatoge our team strategy and dynamic. It looks to me like a multi. It happened almost every round. The last player to do this was bazoka. When I started last round, I only had players on it I knew. We did better as a team than ever before. This is what i was talking bout when I said "the shit Ive been thru" I was spending 30 bucks a month and spending an avg of 10 hrs a day here. forgive me if I cared a little bit, or got a little passionate in my argument, which was simply, what are the limits on team supply? After 75 posts in here, we still dont have an answer. I have cliques and understand that thats the way it is. If one of my friends or teammates are wrong bout something, doesnt mean Im going to go attack the one they are fighting just because the person is my friend, especialy if i dont play FM, or have any idea what this whole argument was about in the first place.

I'm sorry if you took it the wrong way, but all i did was say i was happy to see your company edging into the top teams list, because every team that has been on top consistently has initially had at LEAST one bad ass-kicking by the rules, so when Insainity Inc took a hard hit i was really looking forward to the next 2 or 3 rounds when you would come out to start stealing our medals :grin: (not sarcasm, i swear). Instead of looking at the situation like i was (and still believe you could salvage if you put as much effort into fixing the problems you've created as you did making the strat that stemmed all this) you took it to be a personal slight and insult, instead of the blatant invitation to come back in the next round and just own with a more aggressive strat (i've seen sharks get slighted one round only to get pissed and blast to 1st place by a margin of 10 billion, anytime TB gets into a foul mood we lock out admission, and only take our core people in their specialties and rock it, and CTC... well they just medal)

Thanx dude, that means alot. I just wanted people to see that there is a problem, and it needs fixed. The rule that says one account cant be used to boost another is vague,. It opens the door for these kind of controversy's, and we have all seen it time , and time again. its the friends i have here, and the fun i have with them which makes it so hard to leave. I have so many people trying to get me to stay. If I leave they leave too. I dont want that, but I play the game. I lead my team. i am constantly here to help them, and have made some tight bonds with them. I dont have many enemys but I sure picked a damn good one to have,,lol. Also, i just quit smoking weed, and thats a hole nother story. But waking up with something every day, and abruptly stopping might affect the way I look at things a bit. if we had a rules list we'd lose half of our Game Talk conversations... there's the How To Play guide on the Home tab, and if you dig thru the forum archives you'll see some general rules about how the bot was originally going to work.

problem with that is, the bot was originally supposed to deter people from doing non-contract giveaways on the RMM, and that's all well and good, and was discussed and well known how it was implemented... but then it was told that the bot monitored contracts as well, but we were not told that til after the hammer fell, and by tyler were given some arbitrary guidelines to follow on contracts to avoid the bot, or at least not get fined even if you were flagged.

Though admittedly this information was only given out after everyone receiving fines messaged Tyler to figure out how to avoid them in the future, which is fine, but while i understand some of the reasons that there is no list published, the whole ambiguity of fines and the rules in general cause the arguments and problems that have been (further) defiling the forums since the bot was instituted, with insainbrane's just being the most recent
