PLEASE for the love of god give us the ability to block users from our view in game talk/team talk. There are just some people i am sick and tired of seeing the senseless shit that spews from their keyboards. I dont wanna see them talk any more, we can block them in the buddy list as jim 1 has proven by blocking everyone from sending him PMs, LET ME block him from view in the game talk!!!

actually i'd just block people who made posts long enough to make me have to scroll horizontal, usually links, or stupid sets of speech w/o spaces, damn i hate having to scroll horizontally...

Cracking idea ganjadude! A block feature would mean ALOT less problems between players too. Once again, great idea.

i don't really like it, cause the people who don't have it on will see them and still respond still causing the big post, but now that big post would be missing half the arguement. plus when jim annoys me i run to FM knowing he would melt in there

it's a good idea but you could only block game posts

if you were on the same team you couldn't block team posts because then you might miss some intel or plans that may be important

I have mentioned this before.. I could only think of one person when I read this. Jim 1. We seriously need an ignore button in game talk. I will PAY to have this done.

Have any of you ever thought that, you never had to read jim1's posts?
It was your choice to read people's posts you didn't like, so its your problem, i personally dont care about the rantings of jim1 and co. it doesn't bother me because personally this is just an internet game and anything they say shouldn't bother you at all, this whole thread is irrelevant and should be locked, and deleted after.

Thats just my 2 cents.

I'm not positive, but this seems like a real pain to code. Right now it just one game talk for everyone. Each person has one team talk. When you join a game, it pry just assigns you a permission mask and assigns you to the appropriate forums.
This would require at a bare minimum a filter process where it would have to process which posts you get to see. More likely would require each person to have their own "game talk" forum. It's easy for your Inbox cause we already have our own inboxs, we just change the permissions. Code is hardly my thing but that's my best guess.

Honestly it's not worth the time or effort. I hardly ever even read game talk for these very reasons. Threads like this are where those people get off anyway, so stop giving them the entertainment they're looking for.
