Are Private Messages Private? Not to NWC Cabbies...

Is everyone that plays for NWC aware that the cabbies read your personal messages that were sent in game ? If you are added to the API and they have access to your account they have no problem invading your privacy by reading your messages. PM=PRIVATE MESSAGES. Why would they feel justified in reading them? As far as I'm concerned that is a COMPLETE violation of trust. How can I play with a cartel with such low morals? They talk about spying and cheating..hum..How hypocritical when they are spying on their own members. Please remove me from this forum. I prefer not to be associated with people who have such little respect for their loyal players. And they can spin the story as much as they want but the fact still remains they went into my mailbox, read my private messages without my permission.


*This was the message that I posted on the NWC forum. I now know the cab member in question, not only read my private messages but took it upon herself to sabotage my game by changing my drug payout knowing that I wouldn't notice until I played my tokens..50 at the time! :fing: She KNEW this would put my junkies back into training. This was done 2 days in a row and was done purely out of spite and jealously due to the content of the message that she read without my permission. Adding yourself to an API does not give the cab members the right to go into your account and read your private messages. Both reasons having nothing to do with the cartel or dopewars. It's petty actions like this that give certain cartels a bad name. NWC tried blaming another cartel but it was later found out to be one insecure cab member and it stems purely from a personal vendetta. This is the thanks I get for being a loyal cartel member for the past 10 months. I quit NWC and will NEVER trust them again. Sorry to Master Sgt who was completely trustworthy and in no way aware of these unscrupulous actions.

I played my games with integrity and follow all the rules. I put up good scores playing this way and don't feel the need to be underhanded and petty with my game play. Personally I feel this is a moral and respect issue and don't want to be associated with a cartel that is run this way, Do you? :dunno:

I have NO loyality to said person. I don't know her so why would I respect anything she asks of me especially when asked in such a foul manner, so MAYBE she should tell her 'boyfriend' to stop calling me. :hrmff:

i have, on a few occasions, mistakenly opened personal messages from the players accounts that i have been covering, its just kinda natural when you login and it says new messages that you click it......... i dont know what the message was but if i happened to read something about one of my players pulling (for example - and im not suggesting that this was the case) but if it was then i would probably boot the person and i would have to try very hard to not ruin their game.......

however as i say I DONT KNOW THE FULL STORY - no one seems to, i am just trying to see this from both sides, Mel has always been cool with me as has everyone else in this thread :huggy:

I could see if someone was watching my accounts that it be more acceptable to look at the messages. Everyone is aware Mel doesn't like Priors because of her friendship with Chris so obviously she would never be asked to look after Priors accounts. She abused her access to the API by checking up on "her boyfriend." The message that she read had nothing to do with pulling as it was between Priors and I and we both were in the same cartel. Spite and Jealousy were the reasons she went into Vickie's game changed her junkie payout 2 days in a row. Talk about admin. abuse. Yes, this in fact does make NWC as a whole look bad. I understand Chris has not been running the cartel lately and possibly when he comes back he will be able to bring NWC back to the respected Cartel it once was. As for now (with the exception Of Master Sarg) it's being run by a petty jealous woman and her lapdog. A cartel that claims loyalty, respect, and trust are the key for success have just proven themselves to be anything but. Seems to me if she was innocent of these claims she would have come here and denied the accusations........

Update: The few people who have spoken to her claim that rather than accept full responsibility she implied it was Zues/Dave who instigated the invasion of privacy....Hmmm now we are blaming each other
