i met pele at a signing in manchester which was awesome, and i met ronaldhino in a vip night club bar stair case in barcelona after being at camp nou watching them play madrid and he scored a rocket that night. I was certainly more in awe of him than i was pele

What planet are you from?
Alex Ferguson rates Steven Gerrard higher than Roy Keane and you cannot tell me that either Steven Gerrard or Kenny Dalglish are less than the jumped up cheating greaseball that is Cristiano Ronaldo, he isnt even in the same league.
Dont get me wrong i think he is a good player but no were near as good or as influential as the two players i named before him.
For example, in a recent online poll on the liverpool website spanning 9 months, Kenny Dalglish was voted the greatest player ever to pull on the red of liverpool and have a guess who was behind him, you got it Steven Gerrard who is getting better every season, and when you think of all the players that have played for the club, like some of the worlds greats, Ian Rush, Graeme Souness, Ray Clemence, Alan Hansen, John Barnes, Robbie Fowler and Michael Owen, that is some achievement.

he is fantastic as a player and there is no team in the world that would not take him in a heartbeat.
That said for this poll were talking established history proven greats... so yeh steve should not be in the poll in comparesent, hes got years yet to make his name truly great...which makes having Christiano ronaldo in there even WORSE!, he has even more years yet to prove himself.

exactly, ronaldo has none of gerrards major qualities.. to list but one is his influence.. fa cup final and champs league final both times we were losing but his never say die attitude saved us.. whenever the manc are losing you watch everyone of thier players drop.. case in point was milan the other night.. they played shit as soon as they were losing.. and when last season did they come back to win?? united are shit after going one nil down but liverpool survive and thats thanks to the captain, the mighty stevcen gerrard, and no other supporters can see his true worth
