To all the English fans out there, do you think we are going to see a
repeat of 2 years ago at the EuroCup with the Portugal team with
one team being sent home by a lousy shootout?

I get the feeling that alot of fans feel that Portugal will walk away with
an easy victory, but I think that it's going to be a closer match than most
people are giving credit.

What's your opinions?

Deco looks like getting overturned and Ronaldo is recovering. They will tear England apart I think.

nah Deco definately is banned, FIFA cant overturn something the referee has "action", for reference see Italies penalty yesterday lol

will be close i think

Fuck No! You guys are out of your minds if you think England has a great chance of winning, here's the bottom line : they have yet to show they truly belong in any of their matches so far. And just because Portugal is gonna miss 2 guys doesnt mean whoever takes their spot is a bad player. They have a few good players who arent starters so I wouldnt count them out...my prediction is Portugal 1 - England 0 or more likely it will be Portugal 2 - England 1. England has been playing like crap lately and I expect another average showing by them.

It would be good to see a great match between France and England. You just have to eliminate Portugal, we take care of Brazil, it seems easy. :)

its not "just 2 players" missing, one of them is Deco and all of Portugals play is centred through him, massive loss for them

Eng 1 - 0 Por

England perform best against good teams... We're mediocre so far this tournament true.. but the opposition have hardly "tested" us thus far...

I told u bloody morons all along that england WOULD lose to Portugal and that it didnt f***ing matter if two good players were not gonna be able to play and that the team overall was good....once again its a team effort and everyone, even broadcasters thought England would easily win, but guess what : THEY DIDNT. Dont mess with Ronaldo cause you'll get burned as i know you all saw lmao :P...thats a hat trick for Scolari :)

Well, it would appear that England should not bother playing in any
shoot outs as we can't seem to win them.:shit: The game was close for
both sides as England had 4 clear chances to score and Portugal had
3 opportunities that should of be goals. Oh well, maybe the English
coaching staff should of spent more time practicing penalty kicks.

Not to change the subject, but who watched the Brazil-France game?
What was with the lack-luster play of the Brazil team? They seemed
not to of put their best effort on the field :bye2:and now it's going to be
France and Portugal.

Any predictions?

I think it will be a very tight and close game but I expect a Portugal victory by the score of 1-0 or maybe even PK's because I just dont think the French will have an easy time getting by the portuguese defense after watching their game against brazil....I mean the main reason why brazil was scored upon was because of crappy defensive play, I mean there were like 2-3 French players in the box unmarked by Brazil....the game could go either way but Im counting on some Portugues luck, plus Deco and Costinha will be back to play.
