How do I convert a flash movie to an animated gif?

Can someone help me convert an flash movie to an animated gif? I have an embedded code that was generated for posting on MySpace but I want to save it as a picture to my computer. :unsure:

I think the first thing you'll need to do is get the flash out of the projector and saved as a .swf file. Once you have that it should be easy to get a converter. I've never done it so I'll leave it to the capable hands of some of our other members.

Flashsaver (http://www.flash-screen.com/flashsaver/download.html) will save flashes (.swf) to wherever you choose....

Then I guess you want something like this (http://www.download.com/SWF-AVI-GIF-Converter/3000-6676_4-10655570.html?tag=pub) converter for the swf -> gif bit...

I haven't used the second one but the flash saver works fine.

http://www.freesmileys.org/emo/angry041.gif OMG!!! It totally looked like it was working but when I saved the pic I created to Flash Saver it saved the web site's default flash instead of the one I made. DANG IT!!!

is it the We Will Rock You one you're trying to save?

start Flash Saver from the Start menu. Click on URL in the top left corner, and put the url of the page the flash is on into the box provided....it'll list all the flashes on the page and you can choose which one you want to save.

No..The We Will Rock You is the default one I suppose. That is the one it is saving. errr.....I customized the one with one of their Fun Notes and it won't save!
