just go to staples, or kinkos, or something, they'll set you up there

they (kinko's) supposedly couldnt get it off the cd, because it was in vista format...
so they asked us to do that border thingy and bring it in on one of those computer hard drive thingy's

you can't just convert the file?
when I got my cards made I just went to staples and designed there, brought them a jpg on my cell phone, and did the rest there

i dunno man, thats just what they said...i knew we should have gone to staples
but it was more pricey and the pic didnt look as nice when he got it printed the first time...but they said if we used the copy to make more copies it would be poor resolution on the cards

Do you you mean "full bleed reduction"?
a full bleed means there is no border, sometimes they even cut the edges to make sure the ink doesnt fall short of the edge
Edit: Most personal printers cant print a full bleed

Yes that is it exactly
he said he needed us to make a border for the full bleed as the company printing them would have to cut the edges

There are definitely people on here that could do it, maybe try posting in general section of whole forum
If i understand you right, all you need to do is load the image in an image editor then add a border then resave the image?

Put the pic someone I can dowload it, and I'll do it for you. This is what I do for a living.
Bleed is where the image runs past the borders of the card and is trimmed off, it makes for a neater job
