Ok i got a copy of vista prem from work, this was one i borrowed out of a model to sell. So i installed it np I havent activated this yet for a couple of reasons mainly.

the pc it belonged to has since been sold, and now the customer wants a backup as his is fooked to which i replied there shoulda been one it, are you sure you havent lost it?:O

I know this person has no web access, so if i activate this copy is it traceable that im a cheeky fecker and skanked him?:$

Personally I would wait to see how the customer pans out first. I'm not sure how much data MS gathers on those.

yah, he will call ms and they will say the pc was sold with the os illegally installed on it, they'll ask where he got it, he'll tell them. they'll come to you...

If it isn't legit then don't be surprised if it fucks up after 30 or so days. Very few completely function.
