What's your favorite food and why?
Mine is an American made Hunan Chinese dish called General Tso's Chicken...extra spicy.
(from the Canyon Pearl restaurant in Beaverton, Oregon...specifically)
Have yet to try several of these myself.

Deep Fried Pork Chops and Mash Potatoes, all covered with Gravy. With a side of Freshly snapped green beans and Ice Tea.
And yes, just thinking about it makes my mouth water and my arteries clog. Thinking about it means that I need to go for a jog to beat the caloric intake and then a cold shower from being too excited!!

Already edited the post regarding the guinea pig dish. (re-editted for clarity) Just unaccustomed to the use of pets as food. Admittedly would have had the same reaction to dishes using dogs, cats, and insects...and I know THEY exist.
You will find that the link I posted in the poll http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_cuisines defines Canadian and American cuisines more clearly. You can even click on the links for further clarifications if you are unfamiliar with the subcategories listed. You will also find there that British cuisine is categorized as Northern European cuisine.
The poll got more complicated once I found out how many cuisines actually exist around the world. I was previously locked into continental thinking myself. I now have a much broader view of food categories as well. Amazing to realize that we can learn new things, even here...while coming up with something silly to occupy our free-thinking friends.

I'm a huge fan of most mediteranean styles, Greek, Italian, I make a lot of pasta since it's pretty cheap. I make the best alfredo or blush sauce,http://www.joker-bikes.de/tim/egghunt/eggs/ff1b7a402.15 (http://www.joker-bikes.de/tim/egghunt/egg.php?id=15&key=ff1b7a402) although there's nothing cheap about alfredo lol. Im still going to have to rep the french-canadian cuisine. Tourtieres, and poutine; You can't top poutine when it's made right...fresh cut fries, rich gravy and real cheese curds? oh man, ill be back later..... :P

Please check the "sub" categories if you are confused as to where your country is located globally. *jftr* "American Cuisine" isn't nearly as specific as some of you may think. *tbh*

Yes, SERIOUSLY...
The poll's parameters are only capable of being split into so many categories. I pulled the categories from Wikipedia, not from my own beliefs about food origins.
In America we DO have regional foods which could further subcategorize even the USA, as well as the various countries you mentioned...if I had my way. Because our states are the size of your individual countries, and because of our diverse ethnic culture base, I think that America would need to be broken down as well.
You are free to make your own "accurate" list and poll it yourself. I dare you to make a fair one that is better than the one I managed to come up with. Don't leave anyone out now. *wink* GOOD LUCK!

Make a proper poll.
Please do not believe that your "world" is better just because it is on the other side of the globe. We all suffer for our mistakes, as well as the mistakes of our brothers and sisters across the seas...trust me.

You are contradicting yourself here a bit, but...again, I will chalk it up to your attitude that you are in the only country worth mentioning. I'm certain that we owe everything we have accomplished to you and your queen, or one of her ancestors. *end sarcasm*
