It took me a while to do it... but I went through every game in V2 that I am playing in and deleted any posts that I have made in the game talk area.

The only posts that show ¤°Ớvęřŵŏŕķď°¤ left are the ones posted by our spammer.

If we all band together and delete all our posts in the game talk area... it will leave the spammer talking to himself and he won't be able to get on our nerves anymore.

Until there is some way to rid the game of the idiots that are just out to stir up shit by spamming everyone and cloning their handles...

Any posts seen in the game talk area made by ¤°Ớvęřŵŏŕķď°¤ will in fact be the work of someone other than myself.

What do you think about an individual ignore feature as in click here to hide player1's posts?

I actually mentioned to jacx that they should add another rule that says spammers will be banned (or some other type of punishment).

Seems a lot easier than adding to the code.

Not that I would complain about an ignore feature.

The aspect I like about the ignore feature is that it doesn't require moderators. You can't really rely on a script to clean the spam and spammers. Even if there was a fine-tuned mechanism, spammers would find a work-around sooner or later. One might argue that a reporting system might solve this problem so whoever gets 30 points or more will be banned. On the other hand this would cause a lot of work on the admins' end and there's a good chance that players would take advantage of it just to wind their rivals up by reporting them.
The easiest way would be to give every player the option to decide what they want to see and what not. That way they can hide the posts of a certain person with one click after they've decided that said person appears to be a complete twit.

Could I choose not to be able to see my own posts?
