$1.76 here....but then again Missouri has the cheapest fuel in the country so not surprised.

fuel costs about $1.10 - $1.30 here.....but that's litres
so so 4 - 5 dollars a gallon

I was really chuffed getting petrol 2 days ago at 92p a litre, which I think is well over $5 a US gallon.

the main benefits are its more environmentally friendly and you don't have to rely on russia or the middle-east for power . + it is cheaper

however there are several drawbacks....
  • ethanol cars struggle to start in colder tempretures
  • the price of certain food stuffs would rise due to more crops being used for ethanol generation.
  • milage of an ethanol car isn't as good as that of a petrol motor
